Ahmed Eid
Palestinian musician and artist whose work bridges traditional Arabic sounds with global influences. Born in 1987 to parents in political exile, Eid grew up partly in Ramallah before moving to Berlin, where he continues to live between both cities. His musical formation spans classical, jazz, and Arabic traditions, creating a rich and versatile artistic language.
After releasing more than ten albums with Bukahara, he began his solo career in 2024 with the EP Aghani Akhira (Last Songs). His work addresses themes such as colonialism, resistance, and social justice, expressed through poetic and metaphorical lyrics. His upcoming album min ghazze labaghdad, min haifa la beirut continues this trajectory. He founded the Palestine Music Space in Ramallah, supporting young musicians through free education and creative resources.
