The Park is Speaking Back,
Painting Workshop
Saturday 18th July, 12:00–17:00, Erasmuspark
(Pyramid Curbs - opposite cafe Terrasmus)
Step outside, slow down, and let the park lead the way.
The Park is Speaking Back is a playful and experimental outdoor painting workshop led by Milena, founder of MIKIDOU Life Drawing, an Amsterdam based art project dedicated to creative exploration and intuitive expression, open to everyone regardless of experience or background.
The session begins with a single guiding question, inviting you to explore Erasmuspark with fresh eyes: wandering, noticing, and discovering what surrounds you. Afterwards, participants come together to paint their impressions and discoveries onto fabric. These painted pieces are assembled into flags, building a collective artwork from individual encounters with the park. The session closes with a parade, bringing the flags and the creature they form to life.
With mindful guidance from Milena, the workshop is both grounding and playful: a space to pause, create, and simply be. No prior experience needed.

This is an outdoor workshop across Erasmuspark.
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in and don't mind getting a little paint on. Bring water, sunscreen, and a layer for the changeable Dutch weather.
