Synergy Playground is bringing art workshops to Amsterdam communities.
Amsterdam hosts many music festivals across the city. The Synergy Foundation activates these grounds through Synergy Playground, a community gathering that brings all generations together through workshops, shared experiences, and collective action. Taking place in the mornings before the music festivals begin, each edition is rooted in and gives back to the local community, creating space for collaboration, creativity, and connection, with a special focus on the children and the parents of the neighbourhoods where the festival takes place.

& No Art Opening Festival
Chimera Workshop & Classical Concert
Design, build, and parade along with a life-sized fantasy creature! This summer, Stichting Synergy, Kexin Hao, Milu Chen, and Noah Kester invite children, parents, and neighborhood residents to a special creative morning.
During the workshop, we will create a gigantic Chimera together: a colourful fantasy creature born from drawings, stories, movement, and imagination. On a 10-meter paper roll, participants will design their own shapes, colors, and ideas. Afterwards, we will build one large artwork together.

A bright classical treat in the programme: Amsterdam’s Hera Quartet. Formed in 2022 at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, they’ve been lighting up stages across the Netherlands ever since.
Hera Quartet
Say hello to the Hera Quartet, a lively string quartet based in Amsterdam! The four members met in 2022 while studying at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and decided to play music together.
A string quartet is a group of four instruments, usually two violins, a viola, and a cello, that blend into one beautiful sound.
Perfect for families and young listeners discovering classical music for the first time. Come along to a concert and see how four instruments can sound like they're telling one story together!
