Roda De Santo
Is a Lisbon-based Afro-Brazilian music collective that reimagines ancestral traditions through a contemporary sonic lens. Their work draws deeply from the sacred songs of Afro-Brazilian religions, especially Umbanda, transforming these cantigas de terreiro into immersive musical experiences. They are blending layered percussion, rich vocal harmonies, and subtle electronic elements, emphasizing spirituality, community, and collective energy, reflecting the living and evolving nature of these traditions.
